With beady eyes and a twitching nose, It searches for morsels, wherever it goes, In dumpsters and corners, its sustenance found, A scavenger's dance on hallowed ground. Yet whispered rumors stir the air, Of a secret trade that none would dare, A culinary secret, macabre and dark, Where rat meat's the prize, a sinister mark.
